    Emmis Indianapolis Radio is seeking an energetic, passionate, analytical and creative Sales Operations Coordinator who has keen eye for solving problems. The Sales Operations Coordinator will work closely with sales leadership in the trafficking process while serving as a liaison to the outsourcing company. Candidates should have the ability to work in a fast paced environment, handle multiple challenges simultaneously and have excellent communications skills in order to bring together and bridge multiple departments. Also, candidate must be able to take initiative and make decisions independently.     The Operations Sales Coordinator has four Primary Responsibilities:

    • High level communication with internal departments including Sales, Programming, Production, and the Business Office and outsource company, Marketron to ensure flawless execution of sold programs
    • Provide reporting analysis to sales leadership including inventory, pricing and sales performance
    • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all sales and production orders
    • Order entry for Network billing



    Specific Job Responsibilities include:


    • Daily communication between Marketron and internal departments
    • Oversee preemptions and work with Marketron and sales leadership on makegood solutions
    • Provide sales team with weekly pre-bump reports
    • Monitor inventory reports for sell-out and preemptions
    • Review of sales and production orders to ensure accuracy including sponsorships and priority codes

    • Order entry and review for Counterpoint

    • Communicate clock changes between Programming and Marketron


    Desired Skills & Experience

    Minimum Requirements:

    • 5+ years’ experience with data analysis and/or coordinating of sales processes
    • Extreme attention to detail is a must
    • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint with a willingness to learn new software.
    • Proficient in Marketron, vCreative and CounterPoint preferred but not required.
    • Loads of initiative, extremely responsible and trustworthy with confidential/sensitive information.
    • Highly organized, meets deadlines, able to multi-task, and performs well under pressure.
    • Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills required.
    • Radio experience preferred but not required.
