Emmis Austin Radio is a branch of Emmis Communications with a cluster of seven radio stations in Austin, TX including: NewsRadio KLBJ-AM (590), KLBJ-FM (93.7), KGSR (93.3), KROX (101.5), KBPA (103.5), KLZT (107.1), and Latino 102.7.


Emmis Austin Radio is seeking a full time Incite Project Manager to support Incite in the design, execution, and implementation of projects by working effectively with clients and personnel across multiple Emmis Austin departments. This position is for individuals who have a vested interest in social cause marketing, know how to get the job done, work well under pressure, and enjoy working in a fun radio environment. 


  • Design projects and manage required project tasks, milestones, and deadlines (using Basecamp).
  • Ensure campaigns are executed with high quality, on time, under budget, and that they deliver results.
  • Assign tasks to responsible parties and ensure tasks are completed by established deadlines (using Basecamp).
  • Prepare and submit regular and end of campaign reporting and recaps.
  • Prepare, reconcile, and submit monthly campaign invoices (using Microsoft Word and Excel).
  • Gather creative assets and other project materials and submit to clients for approval.
  • Draft and manage meeting agendas.
  • Assist with preparation of custom proposals and presentations for Incite programs (using Microsoft Power Point and Word).
  • Participate in client planning, strategy, and brainstorming meetings to assist in the creation and development of custom marketing programs.
  • Assist with responding to government Request for Proposals and organizing vendor and contract documents.
  • Active participation with Incite team in each Emmis market including team call attendance and contributing ideas for growth and continual improvement.
  • Other job related duties assigned as needed.

  • Possess sound computer skills (including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, etc.).
  • 2-4 years professional experience. Work within media, marketing, or nonprofit sectors preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree (Journalism, Business, or Marketing preferred). High school diploma required.
  • Willingness to learn and grow. Interest in Cause & Social Impact Marketing and Corporate Social Responsibility.
  • Valid driver’s license and state mandated auto insurance required.
